
The face in the mirror that glared back was not graceful at all. It lacked the softness which was required during the performance after a few hours. Instead of tenderness there was a sharp expression that would make the instructor frown in annoyance but to her relief he was not here yet. The hall was empty, not a single soul besides her at that moment as she sat in front of the mirror for her stretch.
It was one of those days when she would come before everyone else just to practice alone even though she knew she would never get the chance to shine as the lead ballerina in front of the crowd.
